BIOMAX ASSAY WITH A PROPIETARY SCAFFOLD OF CROSS-LINKED SERUM

 

The biomax assay is designed for refilling  bone looses of substance. For this purpose, autologous osteoblasts are seeded and expanded in a tridimensional scaffold of the appropriate shape and size made of cross-linked serum obtained by a registered procedure (in collaboration with the Blood and Tissue Bank of the Asturias Principality). The GMP proprietary tissue engineering procedure has been approved by the Spanish Medicine Agency. They are provided as sterile material of the convenient shape.

 

The Biomax materials are presently being used for a clinical trial for treatment of maxillary cysts and is intended for use in other craniofacial reconstructions.
