Our Story
Founded in 2009, Citospin established the first clean room in Spain dedicated exclusively to the manufacture of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs). Since 2011, the company has operated under full Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) conditions, playing a foundational role in the development of regulated cell therapy manufacturing in Spain.
With more than 15 years of experience in advanced therapies, Citospin has manufactured mesenchymal stromal cell (MSC) treatments for over 3,000 patients across multiple clinical indications. The company has participated in more than 20 clinical trials, acting both as GMP manufacturer and, in selected programs, as clinical sponsor, with extensive experience in regulatory interaction and clinical execution.
